The main goal of the Olympiad center operating in the cognitive high school is to discover many talented students, to increase the interest of students in the in-depth study of subjects, to create conditions for students who are distinguished by their talent and high potential to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and to identify candidate students who will participate in local and international subject Olympiads. With the organization of the center, additional preparations for these Olympiads are organized and all opportunities are created for students to participate in these Olympiads.
Preparations are conducted in Azerbaijani, Russian and English sections, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI classes in the direction of Azerbaijani language, Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Biology and Informatics. For the purpose of preparation, various types of selection rounds are organized for subjects and departments. The purpose of conducting selection rounds is to support and guide potential students and conduct special academic activities.
Each year, students of Idrak Lyceum participated in a number of local and international Olympiads and competitions. Among them are Republican Science Olympiads, Republican Science Competitions, Lutfizade Logic Olympiad, SASMO, "Hippo" International English Language Olympiad, "Kangaroo" International Mathematical Competition, "Math League" Mathematical competition, "Kings" Olympiad, "Turkey Mathematical" Olympiad, "KenKen" Mathematical Competition, "FISO" International Mathematical Olympiad, "FISO" International English Language Olympiad, They won gold, silver, bronze medals and numerous certificates in the STEM Olympiad, Asian International Math Olympiad (AIMO), IMEC Online Math Competition, American Math Olympiad (AMO), Copernicus Olympiad and other competitions. The presence of students who participated in the preparation classes for the Olympics among our students who succeeded in the Olympics is an indication that these classes will have a share in the success of our students in the coming years.
