For the first time from Azerbaijan, Idrak High School students were selected as winners of the IB Global Youth Action Fund (GYAF) program
Idrak High School IB DP students Raul Guliyev and Anar Allahverdi were selected as winners of the IB Global Youth Action Fund (GYAF) program for 2026 and won a grant of up to 1,300 USD for the "Moving Library" project.
The project aims to increase access to books for low-income students and develop a reading culture through a mobile library. In this framework, books will be delivered to schools and interactive reading sessions will be held.
GYAF is one of the largest youth grant programs in the world — in 2026, 110 projects were selected from more than 1100 applications from 40+ countries.
Let us note that Azerbaijan is among the winning countries for the first time under this program.
The "Moving Library" project contributes to the UN SDG 4 - Quality Education, and serves to develop students' reading skills and outlook.
